The Watchers over the Waves, in the Old Tongue ''Do Miere A'vron'', were a community on [[Toman Head]], who possesed towers on the very tip, overlooking the cliffs into the harbor ({{tgh|29}}). They were mentioned in both [[Dark Prophecy]] ({{tgh|7}}) and in the [[prophecies of the Dragon]] as ''M'avron'' ({{tgh|32}}). When the [[Seanchan]] arrive, they hang the Watchers from cages, for not watching for the right thing ({{tgh|29}})
