Aleshin Talvaen is a lord of the Crown High Council in Ghealdan (TFoH, Ch. 39).

Aleshin fought during the Aiel War. At the Battle of the Shining Walls, no one could decide who was to have full control of all of the different forces, so they decided to rotate command. Aleshin was to be in command on the seventh day, but the battle ended after there (TWoRJTWoT).

Uno and Ragan tell Nynaeve that Masema had Aleshin flogged for having heat in his voice, saying that it was contempt for the word of the Dragon Reborn. Afterwards, he thanked Masema for his mercy (TFoH, Ch. 39).
