Alsalam Saeed Almadar, Lord of Almadar, High Seat of House Almadar is the King of Arad Doman (Glossary). He is not pretty enough to be one of Graendal's pets (LoC, Ch. 6). He has been a good ruler for over twenty years (CoT, Prologue).
After civil wars start in Arad Doman and Tarabon, he and several of his family members disappeared (TWoRJTWoT). His current whereabouts are unknown (Glossary), though rumor says he is dead (CoT, Ch. 18). According to Rodel Ituralde's information, the King was smuggled out of Bandar Eban and hidden away by the Council of Merchants (CoT, Prologue).
