General
The Executive Branch houses those who report directly to the Board of Directors or the Officers at TarValon.Net, Inc. It consists of the Department Directors and the Officers. The structure of the Executive Branch was solidified after the Keeper of the Chronicles became the COO in 2006.
Duties of the Executive Branch
Officers

The Amyrlin Seat holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and handles all responsibilities of the President as laid out in Article IV of the Bylaws. She is the public face of the administration, striving to be active within the community. She reports to the Board of Directors.
The Keeper of the Chronicles holds the position of Chief Operations Officer and handles all responsibilities of the Vice President as laid out in Article IV of the Bylaws. She manages the Department Directors and has an indirect hand in what goes on in the Departments. She reports to the CEO.
The Shatayan holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and handles all responsibilities of the Treasurer as laid out in Article IV of the Bylaws. The CFO reports to the CEO.
The Tower Archivist holds the position of Secretary and handles all responsibilities of the Secretary as laid out in Article IV of the Bylaws. The Secretary is responsible for handling the paperwork for the corporation, as well as the archives and records.
Serving as an Officer earns person the Officer Merit.
Department Directors
The Department Directors are each responsible for their respective Departments and for giving advice to the Officers, should they ask for it.
Staff
Each Officer may have staff that serve directly underneath them; such staff are considered non-Departmental staff, and are not considered staff within the Executive Branch. Non-Departmental staff positions include the Hall and personal assistants, should an Officer wish to have such.
