General
Adden leads a band of brigands in Cairhien. His men kidnap Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve and try to sell them to three Myrddraal who are looking for the girls. He apparently owns a boat and ships cargo on it.
He is large and fair-haired, and Egwene thinks to herself that he would be handsome if his face were cleaner.
Adden is possibly a Darkfriend, though it's never stated, since he meets with three Myrddraal.

Timeline
- Some of Adden's men kidnap Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve (TDR, Ch. 39).
- Adden shows up, and one of his men insists that Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve must be Aes Sedai, because of their rings. Adden inspects the rings. He says that there is good money to be made in selling Aes Sedai, if you're willing to risk your life (TDR, Ch. 39).
- When three Myrddraal show up, Adden is the only man who does not back away, but even he is sweating profusely. Adden is informed that Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve are the ones the Myrddraal seek, and that Adden will be well rewarded (TDR, Ch. 39).
- Aiel warriors show up to rescue Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve. Adden and his men are killed (TDR, Ch. 39).
Miscellaneous
- When Egwene wakes up, she hears one brigand say to another that he better hope that Adden believes he saw Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve's great serpent rings before he kidnapped them (TDR, Ch. 39).
Quotes
"'You do better hope Adden does believe you did see those rings before you did decide,' another man said. 'He does want fat cargoes, not women, I think.' the first man muttered something coarse about what Adden could do with his leaky boat, and the cargoes, too." (Egwene listening to two of Adden's men; The Dragon Reborn, Chapter 39).
"The big, fair-haired man paid him no mind, only kept moving whatever it was on the table. 'Three Aes Sedai,' he murmured, then laughed. 'Good prices for Aes Sedai, if you have the belly to deal with the right buyer. If you're ready to risk having your belly ripped out through your mouth should you try selling him a pig in a sack. Not so safe as slitting the crew's throats on a trader's ship, eh, Coke? Not so easy, wouldn't you say?'" (Adden to his men; The Dragon Reborn, Chapter 39).
