2001 was a major year for TarValon.Net, starting with the founding of the site in March and the acquisition of the TarValon.Net domain name in August.
Membership
General
The year ended with real life people as head of the Green, Blue, Brown, White and Yellow, with fictitious heads of the Gray and Red Ajahs.
Raisings

The exact number of people who joined and were raised in 2001 is not known as records of that time are sparse, and it wasn't until late in the year that any waiting period was required, so many people were able to be raised Aes Sedai or Gaidin after just a week at the site, or even less.
Bondings

Much of the history of this time period has been lost, but three couples are known to have bonded, including the first Tower Bonds, Jorryn Gaille Varna to Thalion Krisman and Eleyan Teyal Al'Landerin to Morni Stowers.
Events

The first Tower party took place in October 2001, with around ten attendees, including current members Eleyan Teyal Al'Landerin, Morni and Amaria. A second party was held at New Years in Las Vegas.
Staff

The first Amyrlin of the site was Eleyan al'Landerin, and the first Keeper of the Chronicles was Gwendolyne Manshiera. In September of 2001, Elyna al'Tzoran took over as Keeper. The very first Master at Arms was Kerric Shaigar, but in September Jakeb Morsin t'al'Thorn took over the role. The first Mistress of Novices was Lesani Cuthron, but Moradi Lopanes took over in July, with Anastazia Tomlinson replacing Moradi at the end of December.
