General

Briain is a young Maiden of the Spear with a round face (WH, Ch. 6).

Timeline

• Briain is one of the Maidens who accompanies Perrin and Faile when they leave for Ghealdan (ACoS, Ch. 27).

• Gaul leads Briain and the other Maidens to search for the Shaido who captured Faile (WH, Ch. 2).

• Briain and the other Maidens return from scouting to tell Perrin that Faile is alive; Briain tells Perrin that the three men who were with Faile died fighting off the Shaido (WH, Ch. 6).

• Briain dies when Perrin launches his assault on the Shaido in Malden to free Faile (KoD, Ch. 29).
