Caira

Caira is a maid in The Wandering Woman inn in Ebou Dar; she is slender with full lips and has smoky eyes and long lashes (ACOS, Ch. 17). Her mouth seems to be set in a constant pout (ACOS, Ch. 22).

Timeline

• Caira flirts with Mat and tells him that a seedy-looking man had been into the inn looking for him (ACOS, Ch. 17).

• Caira becomes upset with Mat and won't flirt with him anymore when Birgitte comes to visit him on Swovan Night (ACOS, Ch. 21).

• Caira becomes even more upset when Elayne and Nynaeve visit Mat the following morning (ACOS, Ch. 22).

• Mat is confused by Caira's continued bad temper when he moves out of the inn later that day (ACOS, Ch. 28).

• Caira is still upset at Mat some time later and gets yelled at by Marah for slacking off (WH, Ch. 19).
