General
Chiape was the Sh'boan of Shara, a kind of absolute monarch, before Graendal snatched her away to keep as a pet. She is a very dark-skinned and very beautiful woman with curly hair.
She was newly widowed and about to make Shaofan her Sh'botay - the male equivalent of a Sh'boan. She would have ruled for seven years, then died and Shaofan would have chosen a new Sh'boan and would have reigned for seven years himself, so Graendal told Sammael.
She insists that the deaths that happen every seven years to the ruling monarch of Shara are the Will of the Pattern.
