Cyril is the son of the Murandians Jac and Susa Wynn. His mother let their names be written down by Moiraine to get the Tower's bounty of one hundred gold crowns, although he was already about six or seven months old.
When Moiraine heard Cyril cough, she pressed a silver penny in Susa's hand and told her to take him to a Wise Woman.
