General
Baelome is a Ghealdanin noblewoman. Masema almost had her beheaded for calling Rand by his name instead of 'Lord Dragon'. She beseeched him to let the sentence drop, so instead she was hung by her wrists and strapped. Afterwards she thanked Masema for his mercy (TFoH, Ch. 39).
