MM: Bonding

Senior Members are eligible to bond an Aes Sedai or Gaidin. Every Aes Sedai or Gaidin has two bonds with two exceptions. Red Aes Sedai have one and Green Aes Sedai have three. However, Members have been eligible to earn merits since they joined the Tower, and can earn another bond through the merit system. They must have a Gold Senior Membership Merit plus 4 other Gold Merits, not including the Membership Merits.
To bond, both members must email the Cordamora to state your intention and why they wish to bond. The Cordamora will respond as soon as possible. If the bond is approved, the Cordamora will notify both parties, make an announcement in Site Announcements, and give both members access to the other’s Sitting or Great Room. If they wish to dissolve the bond, one or both members will email a request to the Cordamora requesting to dissolve the bond and citing their reasons. If only one member requests to dissolve the bond, the Cordamora will make a reasonable effort to contact the other member of the bond to notify them of the request and gain their approval/feedback. This will take no longer than 2 weeks. Once a decision is made, both parties, the Membership Admins, and the Tower Historian will be notified. The bond will be marked as ended in the library, and it will be announced in a locked thread in Site Announcements.
