General
Malvin is a young officer of the Tower Guards under bannerman Steler at the end of the Aiel War. As all the other Tower Guards, he wears his gray steel breastplate over his nearly black coat and the equally dark cloak with the Flame of Tar Valon.
He was one of the guards that accompanied Siuan and Moiraine to the Murandian camp outside of Tar Valon.
Once they are back on the Tower grounds, Moiraine asks him what to do with their lapdesks, but he just glares at her before giving a curt and unfriendly answer. Steler then tells her that he is angry, because he wanted to fight the Aiel.
