Marisa Ayellin is a girl from Emond's Field. She is almost as pretty as Egwene.
When Perrin teases Mat and says that no one has ever called him good-looking, he defends himself by remembering that Marisa has called him handsome several times. When Loial asks if Marisa was pretty, Perrin answers in jest she had a face like a goat (in earlier printings, she is referred to as Neysa Ayellin).
