The Golden Barge is an inn in So Habor. It is prosperous looking, three stories of neatly dressed gray stone under a slate roof. Inside, there are polished round tables and chairs instead of benches beneath a high, stout-beamed ceiling. The walls were painted with fields of grain, ripening under a bright sun, and a colorfully painted clock stood on the mantel above a wide fireplace of white stone. Perrin visited there for supplies, at which time dust covered the tables and the clock had run down.
