Turanna Norill is an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah who sided with Elaida when the Tower split. She was part of the embassy to Rand and captured by the Aiel. Verin used her weak form of compulsion on her after Healing and she started to weep when she sees Irgain, realising there is no hope. After, Verin hands her shield to Daviena and Losaine, neither of whom would have been capable of holding it on their own (TPoD, Prologue). As with all the others, she eventually swears fealty to Rand.
