The Department of Research and Communications oversaw the Tower Library, Tower Histories, as well as the book forums and the Classroom. It also dealt with the Tar Valon Times and Community News.
History
The department was originally formed as the department of Research and Communication and headed by the Tower Librarian and Tar Valon Times Editor in July 2004. It was split into two separate departments in August 2006. With the dissolving of the Department of Communication, and the creation of the position of Tower Voice, the department was reconstituted. When the Department of Marketing was created in 2011, the position of Tower Voice was moved into that Department and the Department was again renamed to the Department of Research
