Forum Triad Olympiad
General
The TarValon.Net Forum Olympiad was an online competition taking place in June 2020, organised by Erin al'Denael. Registration opened on June 1, the first competitions started a week later, and the event wrapped up with the winners announced on June 29.
Senior Members were encouraged to join up with Junior Members, forming triad teams and competing in three different categories of contests - Wordsmithing, Artistic Endeavors and Community Engagement.

Competitions
Week 1
The triads were tasked to write one drabble each on the theme of "The Gaidin goes to market..."
This contest was won by Brown, Brown, Bruce.
The triads colored an image drawn by Venric Methalion.
This contest was won by The Seasonati.
- Community Engagement: Longest Chain
The triads competed to create the longest @ chain in a forum thread of their own, in which they tagged Tower members who had to respond to that tag and then never could be tagged again.
This contest as won by Triad of Awesome, with Three Amegos taking second place and <insert name here> claiming third.
Week 2
The triads had to come up with the best caption for a picture from the shooting of the Wheel of Time TV show.
This contest was won by KPop Stans.
The triads had to create magazine covers related to the Wheel of Time.
This contest as won by Balefire and Coffee.
- Community Engagement: Showing Appreciation
The triads were tasked to find a way to show appreciation to the site members helping them out in the previous week's Community Engagement task, the Longest Chain.
This contest was won by <insert name here>. The second place went to Triad of Awesome, and the third to Brown, Brown, Bruce.
Week 3
The triads were challenged to write a poem about a Wheel of Time Character.
This contest was won by Brown, Brown, Bruce.
The triads had to create artwork representing themselves as teams.
This contest was won by The Seasonati.
- Community Engagement: Treasure Hunt
The triads were tasked to complete all nine challenges on the treasure hunting card as quickly as possible.
This contest was won by the Triad of Awesome. Brown, Brown, Bruce took second place, and Tequila Mockingbirds came in third.
