Introduction post - "Welcome to Bel Tine!!!". Please expand to read more.

Deep in the night, a mist started gathering over the River Erinin as the Island to the south slept in peaceful oblivion. As the mist gathered strength, it slipped further downriver, turning the grass black, and flowers grey as it passed. The river flowed white under the light of the moon and the mist crept ever so slowly, over the bridges and through the harbors of the slumbering City.

It would be hours before anyone would see the changes, as the mist became so thick as to hide the world. As the dawn came, the leeching mist seemed to shrink and howl and swirl, as it slowly began its retreat. Away towards the Ogier Grove the fog seemed to swirl and a few errant colors, too stubborn to fail easily, could be seen streaking through the white and grey air as it moved away.

The first to notice were those on guard duty. They realized that the company colors that should be present were gone, and they sounded the alarms, after checking that the rest of what they could see was likewise bereft of color. The Ajahs were dismayed to find their state, and there were calls of fear, and outrage, and all looked to the last of the color stealing fog as it seemed to be sucked down into something hidden in the Ogier Grove.

Welcome to Bel Tine, our Spring Festival! It lasts from now, Monday, April 9th to Monday, April 16th.

You're in the Faire Grounds, which are normally open only twice a year, for Bel Tine and the fall festival Shaoman. If you're a Junior Member, the rules here are somewhat more relaxed than they are in the rest of the forums: here you will not need to use titles when addressing Senior Members. However, everyone must still respect their fellow members as always.

Any issues or concerns regarding a fellow member should be handled through the normal channels, which would be your membership administrator (the Mayor, Mistress of Novices & Recruits, or Mistress of Accepted & Soldiers if you're a JM; if you're a SM, you know who your membership admin is.)

Any issues, concerns, or questions about the event itself should be directed to the Outreach Activities Coordinator (outreachactivities@tarvalon.net) or to the Director of Community Outreach (outreach@tarvalon.net).

Please feel free to use the Signatures provided below!

Welcome again, and have fun!
