Maidens of the Spear Character List
Adelin: Of the Taardad; she follows Rand.
Agirin: Of the Shelan Daryne; she follows Rand and dies at the Battle of Dumai’s Wells.
Amys: Formerly Far Dareis Mai and now a Wise One dreamwalker of the Nine Valleys Taardad. She can channel, is married to Rhuarc, and is the sister-wife of Lian.
Aviellin: Accompanies Perrin to Ghealdan.
Aviendha: Formerly Far Dareis Mai and now a Wise One of the Nine Valleys Taardad. She is first-sister to Elayne and one of Rand’s lovers. She leads the channelers defending the Pit of Doom during the Last Battle
Bain: Of the Black Rock Shaarad; first-sister to Chiad. She and Chiad regularly accompany Perrin and Faile. They are both taken as gai’shain by the Shaido, and during the battle at Malden Gaul takes makes them his gai’shain.
Beralna: A follower of Rand.
Briain: One of those who accompany Perrin to Ghealdan; she dies during the battle at Malden.
Carahuin: A follower of Rand.
Careen: A follower of Rand.
Chiad: Of the Stone River Goshien; she is first-sister to Bain and the lover of Gaul. She and Bain regularly accompany Perrin and Faile. They are both taken as gai’shain by the Shaido, and during the battle at Malden Gaul makes them his gai’shain.
Chiarid: A follower of Rand.
Chion: A gai’shain who is killed by a draghkar at Cold Rocks Hold.
Chuonde: Of the Spine Ridge Miagoma Aiel; she follows Rand and dies at the Battle of Dumai’s Wells.
Corana: A follower of Rand who believes the Aiel should declare blood feud with the Seanchan.
Cowinde: Currently gai’shain to Melaine.
Dagendra: A follower of Rand.
Dailin: Of the Nine Valleys Taardad; she is killed by a Myrddraal when she helps rescue Egwene, Elayne, and Nynaeve from Darkfriends.
Desora: Of the Musara Reyn; she follows Rand and is killed by Children of the Light.
Domeille: A follower of Rand.
Dorindha: A follower of Rand.
Efalin: Of the Shaido; she leads Far Dareis Mai.
Elienda: One of those who accompany Perrin to Ghealdan; she is killed by the Shaido.
Enaila: Of the Jarra Chareen; she is one of the Maidens most often seen accompanying and defending Rand. She is killed in the Last Battle.
Evasni: A maiden who goes with Rand when he battles the Shadowspawn outside of Maradon.
Heidia: One of the two guards Rand takes with him when he returns to Bandar Eban
Ifeyina: A maiden who goes with Rand when he battles the Shadowspawn outside of Maradon.
Isan: Of the Jarra Chareen; she follows Rand and is killed at the Battle of Dumai’s Wells.
Jalani: A follower of Rand; she is a teenager.
Jendhilin: Of the Cold Peak Miagoma; she dies guarding Rand's door.
Joinde: Of the Black Rock Shaarad; she follows Rand until she gives up the spear to marry Garan.
Jolien: Of the Salt Flat Nakai; she follows Rand and is killed fighting the Shaido.
Kainea: A Maiden who was present in Tear when Rand returned form telling Egwene he intended to break the Seals. Rand sends her to gather messengers.
Katerin: A short golden haired Maiden of the Spear who guarded Rand's tent the night he spent with Aviendha.
Lamelle: Of the Smoke Water Miagoma; she follows Rand and is killed in Caemlyn.
Leeh: A Maiden who Rand has watch Weiramon and Anaiyella after he names them Darkfriends and tells them to leave.
Lerian: A follower of Rand.
Liah: Of the Cosaida Chareen.; she follows Rand and is killed by him in Shadar Logoth after she is touched by Mashadar.
Luaine: A follower of Rand.
Maira: Of the Serai Tomanelle; she follows Rand.
Malindare: A follower of Rand.
Marthea: Of the Shaido; she is killed during the battle at Malden.
Melindhra: Of the Jumai Shaido; she abandons her clan to follow Rand. She is also a Darkfriend and is killed by Mat while trying to murder him.
Mori: A Maiden with Perrin who circled the area of the Blight that had moved into Altara.
Naeise: Of the Moshaine Shaido; she is among those dispersed by Sammael.
Nandera: A follower of Rand; she is often seen accompanying and defending him.
Nerilea: A follower of Rand.
Nesair: Of the Shaido; she has abandoned her clan to follow Rand.
Rhian: Among those sent across the Dragonwall to search for the Car’a’carn.
Riallin: A follower of Rand.
Sarendhra: Of the Shaido; she has abandoned her clan to follow Rand.
Sefela: Among those sent to search for the Car’a’carn; she helps capture the Stone of Tear.
Sendara: Of the Iron Mountain Taardad; she follows Rand and is killed.
Shaiel: Of the Chumai Taardad; she was married to Janduin, Clan Chief of the Taardad, and died on Dragonmount giving birth to their son, Rand. She was born Tigraine Mantear, the Daughter-Heir of Andor, and was married to Taringail Damodred before fleeing. She was also the mother of Galadedrid Damodred.
Somara: Of the Bent Peak Daryne; she follows Rand. She is killed during the attack on the Sun Palace in Cairhien.
Somma: A Maiden who guards Rand with Kanara while he is in Tear
Sulin: Of the Goshien; she follows Rand. She temporarily serves as a servant to meet toh for speaking to three gai’shain during an emergency as if they were Maidens. She accompanies Perrin to Ghealdan and survives the experience
Surial: A follower of Rand.
Suraile: Of the Moshaine Shaido.
Tuandha: One of those who accompany Perrin to Ghealdan.
