Manala

General

Manala is a considerable village in Kandor on the road between Canluum and Chachin, some days south of Ravinda.

It is a sprawling collection of stone houses roofed in red or green tiles with more than twenty streets crisscrossing the low hills. In the hollow between them lies the village Green fronted by three inns, including The Plowman's Blade, alongside the road.

The Plowman's Blade

Innkeeper: Mistress Tomichi

The Plowman's Blade is a two-story stone-building with a red roof and arrowslits instead of windows on the ground floor. A two-handed sword like those farmers carry on their plows hangs above a heavy-planked door with its point down.
